3 1/4" wheel-thrown ceramic vase
This is a ceramic vase, thrown on the wheel. Once it has been formed and trimmed, it is first fired to 1800 degrees F and then cooled to room temperature, after which a glaze is applied to the surface. It is then fired again to 2200 degrees F, which vitrifies the clay and hardens the glaze.
Perfect to display small floral arrangements.
